Hi, I’m Kristy — and this is my food story
I’m a certified Health Coach, sweet potato waffle maker, a mom and a Gigi who believes that food should feel like freedom and every bite should be enjoyed.
But that’s not how it always felt.
For years, I thought being healthy meant restriction.
Less food. More rules. Counting calories, tracking points, and carrying guilt with every bite.
I desperately wanted to feel good in my body — and proud of what I was feeding my family — but I felt stuck. I didn’t know how to get unstuck.
The turning point was when I stopped trying to “fix” my food and started learning how to fuel my body.
Meal prepping became a way to care for myself, not punish myself. I stopped skipping meals and started feeding myself like someone I loved.
And that changed everything.
I realized food isn’t the enemy — it’s an act of love.
Love for our bodies. Love for our families.
Love for the strong, capable women we already are.
I got stronger — yes, in my body — but also in my mindset, my motherhood, and my confidence. And that strength? It rippled into every part of my life.
Now I help other women find that same food freedom — one joy-filled, real-life meal at a time
